Where Dreams Become A Reality

Dreams, to do what it takes to fulfill with what you want. But if you don't do anything that's all it'll ever be, just another dream.

A dream is not just something you think of when you sleep, it's not just another word, nor is it just another thing. A dream is something that deep inside you've always wanted or wanted to do. Many people hold on to these dreams knowing that one day it'll come true and others drop them thinking that it'll never see the light of day.

One must never give up on their dreams or believe that there is no way to achieve them. Even when it seems impossible achieving your dreams is the most incredible feeling and accomplishment you'll ever have. Not only are you happy in what you finally achieve, but you have no idea what impact, inspiration, and motivation you give to those that need it and that's what many people are doing, especially those that have been in my life.

These people - Jon, Friidom, Haley, Alekz and Ramon are my main and primary examples of living, experiencing, and making their dreams come true, these people here have all moved to California to pursue their dreams, and because of that, I became inspired to write about them.

Jon and Friidom were the first two to move to California. Jon moved not only to improve his dance skills, but also to purse his dream in film and now he is interning at World of Dance, which is the place that I want to work at when I graduate. He is their intern for filming and editing and because of it he has been presented with many new and incredible opportunities that he searched for and put in the work for.

Friidom was another friend that moved to Cali with Jon, and he's doing amazing things. One thing that he loves is the theater and acting. He's been in many videos that involve acting and dancing and mostly based on fellowship. He's also been in a Samsung commercial and because of the work he puts in, he's also presented with so many amazing blessings.

The next two are Haley and Alekz, these two people have also moved to Cali. in pursuit of their dreams. They're both undergoing some incredible training in order to improve their craft not only as dancers, but artists. They are rooming together, searching to do amazing things and putting in the work for it. They're no slackers and are doing their very best to make their dreams come true.

The last person mentioned is Ramon. Just as the others, Ramon has done so much for the Dallas Dance Community. This guy is soon leaving for California to follow his dreams as a dancer and to improve his craft and come back not to be the best, but to give back, especially to his little girl and family. He and many others have made sacrifices to get to this point and they're still willing to sacrifice more to make them come true. If not, it's only just another dream.

Each and every one of these people and more are not only following their dreams, but giving many of us hope and strength to do the same.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
