It's that time of year again, and everyone is sick. Here's a list of the things you probably tell yourself when you end up getting sick in college.

1. "I'm not sick, it's just allergies."

2. "No, seriously, it's just a runny nose, I'm fine."

3. "It's a small cough, I can power through."

4. "I'm not sick, I don't have time to be sick."

5. "Okay... I'm sick."

6. "I can't stay home, my class has mandatory attendance."

7. "I have to go to class, we have a final this Friday."

8. "Mom... I'm still sick... what do I take?"

9. "Why did I go to class? I feel like death."

10."I'm so sick that death feels better than I do."

11. "How many pills can I take before it's unhealthy?"

12. "What pills can I mix together to get better faster?"

13. "I swear I'm not a drug addict, I'm just sick."

14. *At the store buying medicine* "Please, allow me to buy this many boxes of medicine, I'm so sick."

15. "Is it socially acceptable to drink NyQuil at 2 p.m.?"

16. "I'm just gonna lay on my floor and wait for the medicine to take effect."

17. "I'm on so much medication right now, I cannot pretend to be sane."

18. "Why me? Why now?"

19. "What's it like to be healthy? And breath through my mouth closed?"

20. "Do I look as bad as I feel?"

21. "I can't blow my nose anymore, it feels like I'm rubbing it with sandpaper. It probably looks like Rudolph."

22. "I never want to get sick again!!"

23. "Dang it, I'm sick again."

Stay healthy this season.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
