Living with someone in college is weird.

You go from growing up with your family to living alone for the first time, except you're not alone; there's someone else in your dorm who isn't used to your weird hours and habits. You suddenly have to be careful about where you leave your things, how often you have visitors, and how loud you are when you're supposed to be sleeping but you're pulling an all-nighter. Throughout the course of the semester, though, things start to change as you adjust and get comfortable with your roommate. Soon, it becomes clear that you've become too close.

Here are five weird things you've made your roommate deal with.

1. They see you first thing in the morning.

Not the fake "I woke up like this" you, when you've brushed your teeth and hair and changed into presentable pajamas.

No, your roommate sees you with morning breath, dry skin, slept-on hair, and pillow creases on your face. They see you when your voice is still stuck in that sleepy phase and you haven't put on pants yet. The fact that they don't run screaming is a testament to their love for you.

2. They've seen too much of you.

It happens. You forgot to lock the door; you forgot your towel and thought you could make a run for it before they woke up, only to find them sitting on the couch, horrified; in the process of quick-changing so they can help you pick out an outfit, and you have a slip. Good thing you're close enough for it to not be weird.

3. They know every last detail of your relationship.

They know when you had your last fight, how long you hung out on date night, and every single little freak-out you've had because you got insecure or jealous. They've heard you gush about your significant other, and they've seen you cry over your significant other. They've seen it all because it happens right in front of them while they sit, an innocent bystander.

4. They've heard you use the restroom.

Sometimes, it's an emergency and you just don't have time to close the door; sometimes you're in the middle of a conversation with your roommate and you want to continue it despite your annoying bladder getting in the way; sometimes the walls are just too thin. Regardless of the reason, it's happened. It's a sign of true love.

5. They've seen you do something gross.

They've caught you popping a pimple; they've seen you try to sneakily pick your teeth after you eat popcorn; they've seen and heard you blow your nose when allergies attack. They've been around you when you're sick, which means they've definitely been around some of your quite gross bodily functions. And they stick around anyway. Sometimes, they bring you medicine and hug you anyway.

After reading this, I hope you look at your roommate and thank them for being a saint. After all, they love you despite all the weird things you've made them witness. Show some love for them this week!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
