When you finally find the one...

You may question if they actually care about you.

You may wonder why they would ever spend their precious time on someone so worthless as you and that is to be expected when you have been treated badly for years by people who claimed to care about you.

You may question why you.

This is also totally acceptable, it's not going to be easy to understand why they chose you, but I promise you will get there. You will understand why they chose you and you will not question why you anymore.

You may question how it is possible you would get this lucky.

How could it be you out of everyone in the world? There are tons of more attractive people out there or more people who have less mental issues or more people who are just that--more, but it is you. They want you.

But I want you to understand this...

Once you find the one, the answers to those questions won't be a mystery anymore.

Once you find them, you will understand that everyone before that was just a stepping stone to helping you understand who you are and what exactly you want in a partner.

You may have needed to go through some really hard experiences in order to find yourself and the person that you are supposed to eventually become.

Trust me when I say it will all work out. You won't always have an idea of what is going on and you might often be lost, but you will eventually understand what is meant when people ask how you are. You will understand that they probably genuinely care. You will understand that no matter who you are, where you are, or what you're doing there will always be people who care about you.

Meet yourself and understand how amazing you are,

So what if you can't handle everything at once? That's fine. You don't have to. That's why there are people who care about you.

Stop questioning everything all the time and allow people into your life. Let them help you. Let them be there for you. And in turn, be there for them. Love them the way they love you.

This is what you should know when you finally find the one because no matter who you are or who they are, they will be there for you and you will be there for them because you love each other.
