Do you have a bucket list? You know, one of those lists that details the things in life that you would like to accomplish? Of course you do! Maybe your bucket list includes traveling to far off places. Maybe your bucket list has you doing something that gets you out of your comfort zone, like skydiving. Maybe your bucket list has more practical things on it, such as, getting a good job or owning a house.
No matter what is on your bucket list, just know that you are doing something important. By creating a bucket list, you are saying to yourself that you have hopes and dreams and goals.
If you are going to make a bucket list, be sure to include some things that you know you are going to do. You can have normal, regular things on your list. Examples of normal, regular things include: taking a plane, trying sushi, and meeting your favorite celebrity. Anything that might actually be possible to do during your lifetime is something to be included. That way you have something to check off as you work toward the more difficult items on your bucket list.
You will also want to throw some really random and outrageous items onto your bucket list. These are things that would be absolutely ridiculous or incredibly difficult unless you prepared for that moment your entire life. You most likely won't do them, but it is fun to think of yourself in crazy, outlandish situations. Examples of crazy, outlandish things include: climbing Mount Everest, taking a rocket out into outer space, or rocking a dress made out of meat like Lady Gaga.
So, what are you waiting for? Go make a bucket list! Go add to your existing bucket list! Go aspire to do great things during your lifetime. If you have any great bucket list ideas, feel free to leave a comment!
And, in case you needed inspiration or were simply curious, here is the start of my bucket list:
1) Find one thing each day that makes me happy. The little things in life matter.
2) Work for a company that adheres strongly to their mission and values.
3) See the west coast- manifest destiny type stuff.
4) Become the President of the United States or an astronaut.
5) Recover my so-called "ugly couch" in a beautiful, soft, navy blue fabric and make pillows out of the old fabric.
6) Share my favorite things with my future kids- camping, Disney, disco music, cats, etc.
7) Travel to Deutschland oder Österreich (Germany or Austria) and use the German language that I spent five years learning.
8) Meet Harrison Ford or Morgan Freeman or Michael J. Fox or some other really cool celebrity.
9) Find a time machine and get some vintage clothes.
10) Eat macaroni and cheese pizza, again.
