What Your Snapchat Filter Says About You

And yes, the dog filter is still considered basic.

With the whole Snapchat vs. Instagram battle going on ever since Instagram's latest update, I've been contemplating on which one is better. I appreciate Instagram's attempt, but until they have filters, then I'm not buying it.

Snapchat filters allow us to express ourselves as to who we really are, and they sometimes can be cute, scary, hilarious, or downright "What the heck is this."

Check out below what your favorite Snapchat filter says about you!

1. Who let the dogs out?

Bow wow wow! This filter seems to be the crowd favorite, wiping away some imperfections just so you can look as cute as a puppy. Chances are this is your selfie go-to. This is the ideal one you’d want to send to your crush because you look so dang adorable. Watch out for having the sound on though, that licking sound is kind of obnoxious.

2. Peace and love everybody

Yes, my flower child, we get it, you went to Coachella. You are one with nature. Your hippie-self belongs in the '70s. You’re also a little basic, but that’s okay! We all are when it comes to Snapchat filters. You probably listen to the 1975 and have a Wanderlust tattoo.

3. Taste the rainbow

You are quite the jokester. Everyone wants to be around you, and you enjoy making others laugh. I’m going to guess your favorite candy is Skittles, you’re quite spontaneous, and you’re a positive person all around.

4. Not your average Easter bunny

You’re someone with a dual personality. You can be sweet and innocent, but you can get real feisty. No one wants to get on your bad side, and you’re not afraid to speak your mind.

5. Out of this world

Your circle of friends is small, and it’s your uniqueness that draws people close to you. You enjoy discussing conspiracy theories and think Trump is an actual alien.

6. Turn the frown upside down

Sorry but you’re sort of the pessimist of the group. You don’t see the bright side of things, and you’re always accused of never smiling, even though it’s true.

7. Never grow up

You’re a child at heart! You live for amusement parks, circuses, and Saturday morning cartoons. Downfall is that you cry easily, especially when you don't get what you want. Your laugh is contagious and you probably have cavities because of the sweet tooth you have.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
