Every dog breed has different qualities and personality traits that make them loved by their owners. These individual traits are what make dogs unique, just like humans. So, if you were lucky enough to be a dog and to live a life full of naps, dog treats and fetch, which breed would you be?
1. Labs
America's favorite dog breed. They're classic, traditional and very loyal. Labs are very social and protective of their friends and family. Throw them a ball they'll surely bring it back, you can always count on them for nearly anything. Labs have hearts of gold and it's likely their presence will brighten your day because they make everyone feel special.
2. Pugs
These wrinkled faced little dogs are very friendly, but they also have a stubborn side. They're very set in their ways and sometimes are difficult to train, they like their independence. Pugs aren't afraid to be who they are and are very confident in themselves which is why you'll catch them snorting, slobbering or snoring loudly. They embrace their unique look.
3. Chihuahuas
The smallest breed of dog is often the most quirky and eccentric. Though chihuahuas little bodies are fragile, they're personalities most definitely not. These dogs are small but mighty and can sometimes have a bit of a temper especially if they're treated only as lap dogs. However, when you treat these dogs right, and they'll be loyal and entertaining.
4. German Shepherds
These working dogs are often seen accompanying police officers, fireman or search and rescue teams. German Shepherds are known for their intelligence, courage and loyalty to their boss. These dogs will be the first to volunteer to help or they're the ones leading everyone else. If you find a German Shepherd don't let them go.
5. Dachshunds
The classic wiener dogs, they put up with so many puns and jokes about their unique shape. They are the ones who are constantly made fun of for their quirky behavior or just the way they look. They make great watch dogs and they always know everything that's going on around them.
6. Australian Shepherds
Australian Shepherds are agile and affectionate. They're easily trained and have good intentions, they never mean to make poor decisions and try their best to be their best personal self. They love to exercise and go for long walks or runs with their owners. These dogs are one of the smartest breeds and an overall well-rounded dog.
