The semester is in full swing, and you're probably feeling pretty overwhelmed right now. The best fix? Starting a new TV show. It's hard to find something you're going to like sometimes, though. End the Netflix scrolling and check out the show that, according to your major, is perfect for you!

Education — "Teachers"

As an education major, I can attest to the hilariously accurate portrayal of teachers in this series. Sure, it's over the top, but if you're student teaching, you could use a little dose of fun.

History — "The Crown"

Watching this show could basically be considered studying for you.

Criminal Justice — "Quantico"

This drama set at the FBI training ground is perfect TV show to pretend to do research about a future career path with.

Computer Science — "Mr. Robot"

I'm not a computer science major. I love this show. Maybe you'll rip it apart for its inaccuracies. You'll keep watching, though—it's too good not to.

Business — "Empire"

Prepare for running your own empire. Also, Taraji P. Henson is fire.

English — "Younger"

This show about a woman in her 40s pretending to be 26 in order to get a foot in the door in the competitive world of publishing might give you hope that you can make it in the world of editing, writing and publishing too (sans the age lie hopefully!).

Performing Arts — "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend"

This musical comedy about a lawyer who moves across the country to find happiness (and hopefully get her ex back) is the theatrical goodness you've been looking for in a TV show.

Political Science — "House of Cards"

Filmed right here in Maryland, this politically charged drama might give you the inspiration you need to claw your way to the top just like Frank.

Visual Arts — "Face Off"

The stuff the makeup artists are able to do on this show is creative, fun and downright insane sometimes. If this doesn't inspire you to go create something, I don't know what will.

Biology — "Orphan Black"

The nature of the science in this science fiction show is spoiled if I tell you much. Tune in to flex your biology skills and get engulfed in a complex mystery!

Chemistry — "Breaking Bad"

Literally, anything is possible with a chem. degree. If you don't believe me, watch this show.

Pre-Med — "Scrubs"

Hilarious and actually pretty accurate.

Journalism — "The Newsroom"

With Trump's stance on journalists and the media, this show is more relevant than ever.

Engineering — "Mythbusters"

Check out that insane stunt! Maybe you'll be working on something that cool soon.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
