Here's What to Pack for every vacation spot

Summer is right around the corner and we all know what that means: vacation! The perfect time to get away from everyday life and fill our sense of wanderlust.

If you've been bitten by the travel bug and can't wait to get out and see the sights, you'll need to know what to pack before heading out the door. Whether it's the beach, a foreign town or a neighboring city, here's what to include in your suitcases.

Let's dive in!

On the Beach

The feeling of relaxation we get once our toes hit the sand calls for an effortless wardrobe. Think sleek silhouettes paired with metallic embellishments. To top it off, add a straw hat and go for a bold lip color.

When pool time is over and it's time to hit the boardwalk for some grub, grab a cover-up that easily transitions from day to night. Accessorize with layers of jewelry and trade in sandals for a pair of heels.

For City Life

Whether you're exploring the sights of a new city or you're out rushing a sorority as your vacation, keeping cool is the name of the game. Walking around an unfamiliar place can cause havoc on your feet. If you don't want to trade in your heels for sneakers, opt for wedges.

Wedges have a wider sole which will give you better arch support. Not to mention how great they pair with casual clothing like a breezy tee and ripped jeans. Perfect for playing tourist in a city.

Around Town

Have your heart on exploring a charming town? This calls for some edgier pieces.

Break out the crop tops, high-waist jean shorts, statement jewelry, and retro-style sunglasses. Keep the accessories to a minimum as less is more with this case. Same goes for makeup; keep it natural-looking.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
