A majority of my childhood consisted of watching the ABC sitcom "Full House," where I would spend hours upon hours watching the reruns of the series that aired from 1987-1995 and in my opinion, is one of the best television series to date.
If you've been living under a rock since 1987, "Full House" is about a widowed father, Danny Tanner (played by Bob Saget) who lives with his best friend Joey (played by David Coulier) and brother-in-law Joey (played by John Stamos), to help raise his three young daughters. A lot happened during the show, but it most importantly resembles a family that really cares and loves one another, and it's very PG based.
Since the show ended in 1995, it still had years of showtime on different channels, especially nick@nite. When it stopped airing completely, there was a little bit of hope that someday, the show will come back. And guess what? It is.
"Fuller House," a Netflix original series, is coming to all on February 26, 2016, and it has been in the works for a couple years. It's finally almost here! Instead of a widowed father, the new series will have a widowed wife, Candice (Candace Cameron) , which is Danny Tanner's daughter. She moves back to her beloved childhood home in San Francisco to raise her three children with the help of her sister, Stephanie (played by Jodie Sweetin) and crazy BFF, Kimmy Gibbler (played by Andrea Barber).
But don't worry, Joey Gladstone, Jesse Katsopolis, Danny Tanner, Becky Katsopolis (played by Lori Loughlin) and Steve Hale (played by Scott Weinger) will make appearances throughout the series. Everyones back together! Well, almost.
The twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of Michelle Tanner, the youngest daughter, will not be included in the series. The show will blame her absence by having her character placed in New York City, where she's accounted for building a fashion empire.
So grab some popcorn, get your friends and family all together, and get ready to binge watch "Fuller House" for days. Maybe even weeks, whatever you wanna do.
