There's an endless amount of options.

For those of us staying home for spring break, we can't help but be a little jealous when our friends post pictures on Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook of their fun spring break trips to Cancun or Daytona Beach. That being said, there are several ways to enjoy spring break at home too, even if it is a little cold (which it sadly looks like it's supposed to be).

1. Take the time to play with your pets.

I don't know about you, but when I'm away at school, there's nothing I miss more than curling up next to my best friend (my dog, KiKi). There's no greater feeling than getting that hello hug and kiss when I walk in the door.

2. Read a book.

As someone who loves to read, I thoroughly miss being able to pick up a good book just for the fun of it during the semester, simply because I don't have time. I'm going to spend this spring break reading a few of the books I've had on my reading list for quite some time now.

3. Go for a hike.

While this might depend on the weather, I can't think of a better way to escape the stress of school and life for that matter, than to just take a break and enjoy nature. Heck, even if it is cold, I think you should still go; I probably will.

4. Spend time with friends and family.

Catch up with your hometown friends that you haven't seen in a while who are home too, and maybe even spend some quality time with your parents, siblings, cousins, or whomever, because you don't get the chance to seem them all that often.

5. Relax.

As college students, we don't get much time to just relax and unwind, so even if you've got to study, do homework, or work, at least take a little bit of time to just watch Netflix or listen to music.

6. Go shopping.

Although we're all broke college students, we all deserve a little something for making it to the halfway point of the semester and for getting through midterms. Treat yourself to that new purse, makeup, or pair of sneakers. You deserve it.

7. See a movie.

Going to the movie theater might be one of the most basic options, but it's one of my favorite things to do. I recommend going to see Beauty & The Beast, but check out what looks interesting to you, grab that bucket of buttery popcorn, pile of snacks, and have at it!

8. Bake or cook.

Because most of us don't have time to make gourmet meals during the semester, try whipping up something and see what happens. Maybe it'll turn out awfully, but maybe whatever you've made will be delicious and you can add that to the list of foods you know how to make.

9. Sleep in.

At this point, sleeping until 9 a.m. is sleeping in for me. For the most part, we're all either getting up early or going to sleep extremely late, so take this break to sleep in and catch up on those lost hours of sleep.

10. Have fun.

Most importantly, have fun. It doesn't matter if you're in Florida or in your bedroom, just do something that will make you happy this spring break, and think about how close we are to summer!!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
