They say that love is kind. They also say it is patient. They say it does not boast or brag. Who exactly is they and why are they saying this?
Love. Love. Love. Love.
What is that exactly? We grow up hearing that word come out of our parents' mouths. "I love you." As you grow into a little kid being told you are loved becomes gross and attached to cooties which is something none of us ever wanted. However, as we grow a little bit more into young adults, being loved becomes a constant necessity. We want it from everyone we run into and crave it more from certain people.
But, take a moment to ask yourself this. How often do you give love?
Everyone that walks this planet is battling something in their life. Whether they are battling cancer, a loss of a loved one, financial issues, depression, anxiety, family issues, spiritual issues, whatever it may be, everyone has a problem. Love is one of those things that makes life a little bit easier to handle and we all know how life can be at times, I don't need to type it out for you. Love your neighbor and most of all love yourself. Love, love, love. even when it is hard. In times like now during the country's election, instead of bringing us together, is tears us apart. Republican vs. Democrat, black vs. white, liberal vs. conservative, all of these sides just tearing everyone to pieces. Just for a second put all of your beliefs and morals to the side. Look at the person across the room, look at the person next to you, look at the person across the street. Don't look at them as a stranger, but see them as another person just like yourself. They are another person trying to make it in this world just like you. Show them love and compassion. Be the change in the world that you want to see so badly. Love doesn't require much, but it sure does have a long lasting effect. Love is the only power in this world that can send the demons running for the hills. Love is what holds everything together when it seems like everything should have already fallen apart. Love is the reason our children can come running home with smiles on their faces. Love is the reason people can survive on this planet with the differences that make up the entire human race. Love is the most beautiful thing to ever cross the face of this earth.
Fight for what you believe is right. Stand and let your voice be heard, even when you are the only voice there and shaking. stand your ground and bring people together in love. Have a heart. Make this country great again with love and unity for all. It's 2016, what a time to love.
