I've heard this phrase a lot, "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you get to your prince."

Some may take it as, "before you meet the man you're supposed to be with, the insanely hot guy with the perfect, chiseled body, beautiful hair and smoldering eyes, you have to get through and deal with all these boys who look like they're 12 with creepy mustaches, wearing fedoras, who are awful kissers and wear too much gel in their hair."

That would be wrong--in my eyes at least.

The perfect guy does not and will not look perfect on the outside. That is ridiculous, considering there is no perfect look for ANYONE out there. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and there are plenty of other qualities that aren't superficial that make a guy ideal to girls.

*Disclaimer: As mentioned above, there are plenty of qualities that make a guy ideal to a girl, so I am in no way trying to say these are the only ideal qualities.*

The perfect guy makes you happy and makes your life so much better.



The perfect guy makes you laugh your real laugh.

Your real laugh is not that light chuckle you give out of pity when someone tells a lame joke, or when you see something funny online. Your real laugh is the one that makes your eyes crinkle and tears come out, and it makes your abs hurt. If you find yourself laughing like this with your guy, then you know he's a keeper.


The perfect guy is supportive of you.

The perfect guy will be there for you, even in your worst times.


If you are going through some rough times, feel depressed, or are going through some really emotional events, the perfect guy will be there, holding your hand every step of the way.


The perfect guy only has eyes for you...



Sure, he can look off the menu, but he won't order, if you catch my drift. The perfect guy thinks you are all that and lets you know how beautiful you are to him. You have to understand it is natural for guys to find other girls attractive, just as you find yourself admiring how handsome a stranger is, but your guy will make you feel like the most beautiful girl on Earth and tell you every chance he gets.


The perfect guy always knows the right things to say.

This guy gets right to the point!

The perfect guy can come in all shapes, sizes, colors, you name it. I'm sure you, reading this, may disagree, or have a list of a million other qualities that make a guy ideal to you. It can be subjective and it's good to be attracted to a guy you like, but overall, as cliché as it sounds, it's what is on the inside (like his personality) that counts the most.
