When growing up, you never think there was going to be a show season where you don’t show. Every summer you expect to spend all weekend at a horse show. Sadly, not everyone is that fortunate. So here are five things all equestrians think when they miss a horse show, and see it on social media.

1. When someone posts a video online and says how well they placed.


2. Seeing all the social media posts of people out drinking after the show, not missing you.


3. When the new Equine Chronicle comes out and you don't need to look for yourself in the candid's anymore.

4. Listening to your trainer tell you how well they did this weekend.


5. You just want to get in a plane crash so you can actually afford to show horses.
