There really isn't another woman quite as remarkable as a Taurus lady, and I'm not just saying that because I am one..There are so many factors that make us Bulls' the most badass type of female on the planet. Perhaps you only know a Taurus woman at face value...here's a little more of how her heart works and why we are actually #nobullshit

We're patient and we are here to love you and keep you grounded. Our delicate yet strong demeanor is our most valuable asset, for we can let you in, or shut you out faster than you can blink. We are nurturers and we want to make you feel comfortable. We want you to feel the same type of peace within yourself that we feel within our own. We will be your best friend and we will lighten your world with laughter and sincerity. Taurus' are the most loyal friends, and make for a whirlwind of a lover. Ruled by Venus, we are a highly romantic sign. Although one to indulge spontaneously in satisfying her senses, she creates relationships for the long term. In alignment with her care of the five senses, she loves to be touched. She's open and honest from her heart and feels in her soul that same color should be given back to her. If you disappoint her, she will not wallow. She has the uncanny ability to get back on her feet and consciously move on. She's not a stranger to having a lot of attention, but really only wants it back from whom she admires deeply.

Because we have a deep appreciation for art, we are constantly surrounding ourselves with beauty and elegance. It isn't uncommon for fine silks, potted plants, bouquets of flowers and crystals to embrace each and every corner of our homes. We are an Earth sign, and if we can not spend all of our time outdoors, we will certainly bring it into our living spaces to remind us where we belong. We love things that are aesthetically pleasing and often have a great sense of decoration. Taurus' also have great taste in music and love to entertain people in their homes. Also,, good cooks their front doors are always opening and closing with close friends and new faces.

Taurus' in general are really good with money. We are the most hard-working and determined sign in the zodiac, and although we are deemed stubborn sometimes, we sure know that our way will get us to the top even if we have to learn some lessons the hard way. Because we are so successful, we like to indulge in the finer things in life when appropriate. Although we'd rather have experiences than material possessions, we are notorious for spending excess money on good food, expensive wine, fine jewelry and delicate clothing. We will save to take lavish vacations and enjoy every minute of our downtime, too.

There is nothing worse you could to do a Taurus woman than to disobey her trust. Regardless of whether it is a friendship or a relationship, a Bull never forgets. We will not be treated poorly and we will certainly expect the same level of respect back. She will take the time out of her day to listen and genuinely care, and if you do something to make her question that, you better run like the wind. We didn't get horns for nothing, babe.

Overall we are colorful, fun, adventurous and somehow often lazy creatures. If you're lucky enough to know one, keep her close! A true gem, her shine will never fade away!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
