Yes, us girls like to go shopping and get our hair and nails done, but not all of the time. Sometimes we like to sit back, relax, and drink a beer and I don’t think that’s too much to ask. Let's just admit girls are also full of drama, it’s a never-ending cycle of who is hooking up with who, and “why is she trying to look pretty when she’s not pretty at all.” Girls can sit around for hours and talk. But when you are one of the bros you are bound to have a blast no matter what time of the day it is, and you most likely won't have to deal with any of the drama that comes along with hanging out with the girls. But let's face it, you will have to deal with everything that comes along with being a bro.
You will have to tag along with them wherever they go.
That means fire calls because when you are a volunteer firefighter you can’t skip out on a call, you have to go because it's what you do.
You will have to drink whatever they drink.
That means mostly beer. These will be the guys who will turn you into the beer drinker. You will no longer be drinking cranberry vodkas because Bud Light Platinum has become your favorite beer.
They will look out for any guy who tries to hit on you.
There will always be that guy that tries to hit on you when you are with your guy friends. He will ask you if you want to take a seat and then your friend has to jump in a say “No, I think she’s good standing. If she wanted to sit, she would.”
You listen to all the guy problems they are having.
Like why a girl won’t talk to them, or why is she playing hard to get. So you jump in and give the best advice possible.
You will be their go-to girl when they want to go fishing.
I mean, what girl doesn’t love to go fishing? A lot of girls actually hate fishing. But I love fishing and every guy loves having that girl around that they can talk fishing with.
They will eat everything and anything.
There’s no need to be embarrassed eating around them because they don’t care how you eat. Most girls are embarrassed to eat in front of most guys, and I am not sure why. But these are the guys you can eat anything and everything with.
There’s no such thing as a breaking point.
So you think you’ve reached your breaking point when drinking; you finally puke and get it all out of your system. But nope you have not reached your breaking point because they will help you while you puke then open up another beer and say “Okay now keep drinking.”
Bonfires and Beers.
These are the guys you spend Friday night bonfires with. Even if you’ve just moved out of school and have yet to unpack. You leave wherever you are or whatever you're doing and go straight to wherever the hangout is just to crack a beer and relax.
Their girlfriends are your friends as well.
Well, at least majority of them like you. When the girlfriends come around it's always nice because you finally have other girls to talk to and they are always a good time. It also gives you the opportunity to bring your boyfriend around so he can hang with your guy friends.
Sporting events.
They know they can always call you when they have an extra ticket to a sporting event. They also know that you’ll always be down to go and have a good time even if it is last minute.
They don’t care what you look like.
They are also no one to impress either. When you say you have to get ready before going to hang out they will make you leave the house as is. Sometimes they even make you leave your house right out of bed with last night’s makeup on.
They always tell the truth.
They let you know how they feel and sometimes they don’t care if it hurts your feelings. They know that whatever they are saying is for the best. So if they are giving you hurtful advice you should take it because 95% of the time they are right.
The Boyfriend
Sometimes they like your boyfriend, sometimes they don’t and if they don’t you have a problem. But they will always be there to stick up for him. They won't let any other guy talk to you or try to dance with you. They will also keep watch over you just for him.
The best friends you could ever ask for.
They will always be there for you when you need them most. You can ask them anything and get any type of advice you need. You can vent to them without them judging you. They will always be your go-to guys for everything and anything.
