What Does It Mean To Be A Family?

What does it mean to be A family or more so what does it mean to be IN a family? I couldn't be more grateful for them. They are the ones who tell me nothing is impossible, they constantly remind you that you are love, that you are amazing and that you are everything. They are the ones who accept you for who you are. When you are down they will be there to rise you up. They will help you grow. When someone has hurt you they will rally up and defend you. When you are in need they will provide for you. They will move mountains for you, if there is a storm outside they will be there ringing your doorbell.

A family makes you feel safe, happy and protected.

What does it mean to A family?

Well like the famous quote, "Not everything is perfect" sometimes we can argue and have little spats, yet at the end of the day we still love each other. Everyone's family is different, whether your parents are together, divorced, or even single parents. Just because on the outside it looks different does not mean the inside isn't. We're all the same; we express the same love, and maybe just maybe that single parent is shown so much love from their kids because that single parent is a mom and dad all in one.

"Siblings"

If you are not the only child, then you understand that when I say "siblings", I mean a bunch of things such as nightmares, headaches, fakers and tattletales. Siblings can be quite a handful sometimes there are only one and even then they are a big . There are moments when we want to strangle them and maybe we happen to lay a finger on them. But there's no evidence of that so let's carry on.

Our siblings steal our clothes, they take over movie decisions, and sometimes even dinner. It's like they become ruler of the house. As we continue this tends to lead into arguments, sometimes constant. Yet as we grow there are moments when there is peace and quite and we may be causing trouble together . Sometimes instead of arguing filling the house, laughter is being heard. There has always been something unique about the sibling bond. We wreck havoc in each others lives yet what makes it special is that if someone was to to cause trouble, hurt our brother or sister it is a different story. Like I said when being in a family they will protect you. We will do everything in our power to make you happy again to wipe those tears away , because no matter what we do we would never want you to be hurt.

Yet learn this family can be anybody, family is not always by blood. A family's role anyone can fill. Whether it is a mother or father, aunt or uncle or even a a sister or brother. Believe me when I say this anyone can fill it.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
