As the holiday season is getting closer, many are left wondering just what to get that special college student in their life. Most college students think they are way too old to write lists of what exactly they want...this leaves parents and friends everywhere wondering what to get their favorite college kid. So, worry no more, as I completed a list of some things every college student really wants for Christmas.
Reliable WiFi. Being able to trust your WiFi connection is more important than people think. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of an assignment or paper and your WiFi crashes. Find me WiFi that will not crash every time I start an assignment.
Gift cards. The dining hall food is getting really old. Being able to go off campus and get some real food is one of the best feelings as a college student. After a while, this college food gets to be really boring. It's time I start eating real food.
More than four hours of sleep a night. With all of the school work plus a social life, sleep always gets the short end of the stick most nights out of the week.
An unlimited amount of coffee. Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts gift cards never run out. Most days, coffee is the only thing keeping me alive and getting me through the day.
A vacation. I really just want to get away from it all for a week or so. How about Disney World? Paris? The beach somewhere? Maybe a month on an exotic island where my only worry will be when I should go to the beach and what I want for dinner.
Money in my bank account. This is kind of a no-brainer. I am sick of being a broke college student. All we do is go to class and do our homework. There is no time to work. I want to be able to go out and get real food, shop, and do whatever I want. This is pretty tough when you are in college where everything is expensive to you.
A 4.0 GPA. There comes a point where having three exams, two papers and a project all due within five days can be a little overwhelming...
No final exams. Finals create way too much stress. Let's just cancel them all and go straight to Christmas.
