You attend college to get knowledge on the career you want for the rest of your life. Four or more years of lectures, projects, labs, and homework. What exactly all are you learning from that? Are you even learning? You will be surprised that you are going to learn more things from what you are now paying for.

How To Get Ready In Five Minutes Or Less

You will tell yourself that in the morning you won't hit snooze. Why are you always lying to yourself? You will learn to get ready for class, work, or any social event in the fastest time possible. Just a warning, never forget to put on deodorant.

How To Become a Pro Nap Taker

Take advantage of that 15 minutes between classes. Sleep in any public setting on campus that is possible. You will learn that any amount of time (and any chair) is good enough for a few minutes of sleep.

How To Make a Meal Out of Anything

You are going to find the most random things in your fridge. You will, however, find a way to make a meal out of a pudding cup and half eaten bag of chips. You may also learn how to combine different condiments to make something new to put on your Ramen Noodles.

How To Cure A Hangover

Water will save your life. You may also learn that if you throw up while still drunk, that the next morning may not be as bad. You will learn that drinking games, shots, keg stands, and girly drink night are going to screw you over.

How To Live Off Of Less Than $100

You will learn that you are always going to be broke. You are an adult now, sadly, and will have to pay for adult things on a minimum wage job. Learn to skip the bars on Thursdays, and Starbucks every day.

You have to study... a lot.

You may think that you don't need to study to get a good grade. This is false beyond belief. You actually need to study more than you need to sleep.

How To Be Independent

You aren't with your parents anymore. You have to learn how to buy groceries, do laundry, and overall function on your own without them.

How To Not Have a Mental Break Down

Just kidding you can't avoid the breakdowns.

How To Not Gain The Freshman 15

Kidding, again. You will, however, learn how to lose it.

How You Need To Join Organizations On Campus

Greek Life, religious group, or any of the hundreds of organisations that are on campus. You need to join at least one. Now is the best time to get involved.

How College Is The Best Time Of Your Life

You might think about dropping out. You might struggle. You also might think about just giving up. Let's be real, college is the best time of your life. You are going to learn way more than you ever expected and have a great time doing so.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
