"What can we get for you today?"

I am a barista at a café. No, we are not Starbucks, but we do serve Starbucks.

Regardless, I am still qualified to tell you what your drink order means about you.

1. Americano

You are a bad*ss bitch. You get things done right, and you get it done on time. You pulled plenty of all-nighters in school, and you probably go to the gym regularly. Your order is hardcore -- just like you.

2. Iced Caramel Macchiato

You appreciate the finer things in life. You are ready to face the day with your optimism and diversity. You are a leader, but know when it's time to be quiet and let someone else lead.

3. Mocha

You are warm and sweet. You are always friendly to the person taking your order and to everyone else you deal with that day...even when some of those people test your patience.

4. Coffee-Based Blended Drink

You are a personified mullet. Not that you are the epitome of a bad idea, but that you are all about business at work, but you still find a way to have a good time. You do what you love -- you just need to get through your shift.

5. Iced Chai Tea Latte

You are experienced and love adventure, but eventually, you need to settle down and recharge. You find comfort in the small, consistent things in your life. (Pro tip: Order this drink with soy milk and a shot of espresso.)

6. Black Coffee

You are a coffee shop regular. Your drink may be uncomplicated, but you are far from boring. You are interesting. You are probably an entrepreneur and a blog writer. Bring your laptop to the café and write and create.

7. Cream-Based Frap

You don't care much for coffee, but you still appreciate the café environment. You are less of a leader, more of a follower, and that's OK. We can't all be leaders. For example: Donald J. Trump...

8. Hot Tea

You are interested in different cultures and have strong views on the world. You are strong-minded, and you will not listen to just anyone. You have a soft side that your close friends and family can see, but there's a few layers to protect yourself from the world.

There are an infinite number of drinks you can get. Come see me at the Barnes & Noble Café or see the other baristas anywhere else. Be nice to them, be patient and don't forget to tip. Making drinks isn't easy, but we love what we do.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
