For those of you who are not taking AP classes, well you’re lucky.

AP classes are TORTURE! AP actually stands for Advanced Placement, however my classmates and I made AP stand for Academically Poisoning. This is the accurate name for this type of class because you do not learn for enlightenment. You learn to pass a test. You learn to impress others with your weighted GPA. You learn so that when you enter as a sophomore in college, you can be on the fast-track to get the high paid job. But in reality pushing away your childhood to these AP classes is Absolutely Preposterous.

Often times, there is this isolation between the unmotivated slackers and the antisocial puppets School should develop students both academically and socially, which will prepare them to coexist with other people in this rapid world.

One of the fundamental rules i these AP classes is Avoid People. Ever since I took AP Human Geography last year and who has the time anymore to be distracted from social media? The massive amount of workload, the demanding deadlines and study groups slowly sucks up your whole week. And this “routine” goes like a cycle until your AP exam day, which is in May.

Parents start to enhance the whole AP experience by constantly bugging you: “ Did you finish your work” or “Don’t you want to go to college”? Flipping burgers at McDonald's is the all time favorite all-purpose threat that you get from your parents. Applying Pressure is a parental specialty and there's no way you can get out from it.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
