Coronavirus was the curveball that 2020 threw us that not everyone saw coming. Well, I guess you could say some scientists knew it was coming following the breakout of the outbreak in Wuhan, China in December. It was only now that many of us began to take it seriously.

In a time like this, there is really no other time to just be kind to one another. Whether that be the clerk at your local grocery store, your first responders, or your family and friends. The politicians who are fighting for us. Your teacher. Students. We often forget how important some of these people are in our lives. Let's hold everyone close and ride out the storm - together.

Being quarantined in our homes for extended periods of time is not something many of us saw coming. We didn't foresee graduations being canceled. Transitioning to remote instruction hasn't been the smoothest for some. Here's a radical idea: let's be a little easier on each other. All I want to do is go out to a nice restaurant and be able to enjoy a night out. One day, that will happen again. But that will highly depend on the dedication of each and every one of ourselves to slow the spread and stay home.

None of this has been experienced really in our lifetimes. Let's take this time to take a good look at ourselves in the mirror. Are you happy with that person? Have you done something you might want to re-evaluate? Did you carry out something in a way you might regret? The only way we can change is if we take the initiate that change ourselves. Not just now, but everyday.

There is a light at the end of tunnel. if we work hard enough, we will win the battle against this invisible enemy for which has caused the world so much pain. We, ourselves, are tasked with the job of coming back stronger and even more united than we ever were before.
