There are always articles we see being shared on social media about all the reasons we're thankful for our boyfriends which depict why we love their ability to be patient with us and how we love the way they make us smile. But they should really be more thankful for us girlfriends because we deal with a lot that they don't even realize.
Here's to all the moments that our boyfriends just make us want to pull our hair out for and the well deserved "I'm sorry babe" that follows.
1. I'm sorry for not being as planned out as you. For all the times we deal with their lack of "schedule" when you're just simply trying to plan your weekend.
2. I'm sorry for not listening or hearing you when I'm zoomed into the basketball/football/baseball game.
3. I'm sorry for stealing your pillows, sheets and almost the entire bed when we go to sleep.
4. I'm sorry for paying more attention to my friends when we're all together and not remembering that you exist.
5. I'm sorry for being addicted to my phone during football and basketball season because I'm constantly on ESPN checking news, stats and anything else pertaining to my favorite teams.
6. I'm sorry for not wanting to take as many selfies with you when we're laying on the couch trying to relax.
7. I'm sorry for answering, "Whatever you're in the mood for babe" when the very important question "What do you want for dinner?" comes up.
8. I'm sorry for tagging you in so many Facebook, Twitter and Instagram videos that I think are funny.
9. I'm sorry for when I do something that I promised I wouldn't do again and yet I do it, and it creates the same argument where you even yell we've even had this argument already.
10. I'm sorry for all the times I bring up a random person that you've never heard of and claim that's my/was "best friend."
11. I'm sorry for not being on time even when I tell you I'll be there in 10 minutes and it turns into an hour.
12. I'm sorry for not remembering everything you tell me and having you to remind me again about it.
In the boyfriend's defense, they have to put up with us. Think about that for just a second... Imagine being in their shoes when we've had a horrible day and already annoyed by either work or friends, which means you're already extremely irritable and they do something to just make it worse. From there, fireworks go off.
This isn't a "let's pick on our boyfriends" type of article either because we all know we love them for all the stuff that they put up with. Just sometimes we wish they would put their thinking caps on.
