As I write this, I just finished moving in to start my senior year of college. As I moved into my new home for the year, I was hit with a wave of emotions. There was excitement for getting to live with some of my best friends, anxiety about how the year is going to go, stress about all of the responsibilities I already have to worry about, and fear for the future. Freshman year seems like it was just yesterday, and I wonder how we made it to this point. There are times I actually question if I am actually am a senior.
Senior year of college is a time where the future actually starts becoming real. When someone asks you the dreaded question "What are you going to do after college?" you realize the after college part is so much closer. You have to start seriously thinking about life after college. You have to worry about internships, and how to have the best resume you can so you can have the best shot after school.
Senior year is also a time to enjoy with friends. Time is short, so you have to make sure you spend some time having fun and making memories with all of the friends you made over these past few years. Senior year is such an exciting time and I am sure we will all make memories that we will never forget. Lastly, one word of advice to everyone who hasn't made it to their senior year of college: don't become a senior, it is actually a trap!
