Through the years I have watched many crazy spring break videos online, and of course I have watched "Spring Break" with my wife Selena Gomez running around in a bathing suit all day and getting arrested by the cops. That movie was so weird, but that's besides the point. Here is how I feel the week before spring break, the much needed break of all college students.
Monday
You're five days out, and it feels like the longest week of your life. You keep checking the clock like it is magically going to change to Friday. You go to class just to look at pictures from last years spring break, wow you were so burnt, hopefully that doesn't happen again (happens again).
Tuesday
Congrats you made it one day closer. Tuesday is a little different than Monday just because you're in different classes, but the same thing happens: you look at old pictures, but this time you start to stalk Mapquest because, like every other broke college student, you are driving down to Florida. You think you find a faster way, you text the GroupMe labeled "spring break 2k16 b*tches" the debate in the GroupMe gets going and you spend all day on your phone and not paying attention in class.
Wednesday/Thursday
YOU'VE GOT A HUGE TEST, it creeped up on you even though you have it circled in your planner. Why, teacher, why did you plan a huge test the day before I leave for spring break. You really think it is a good idea to plan this? Cmon teach, you're going to get a bad review at the end of the semester. You cram right before your class and pass with a B. You go home to go the bed, you're almost ready to pass out but no you wake up like it is the middle of the day. You forgot to pack with all that cramming you were doing for the test. You throw everything into one bag and just call it done.
Friday
You skip all your classes to get on the road to wherever your party is going. You're halfway there and you forgot your toothbrush. Whatever, just a minor downfall into one of the best weeks of your life. No school, relaxing on the beach, what more can you ask for?
