It came, it went, and now it's over! Another year under our belts. No more tests, no more papers and no more studying for a whole three months. Finals were rough, but we did it. A whole year has gone by, and it seems as if it was only yesterday that we were moving into our dorms.
Maybe you are a freshman and you finally completed your first year of college. Congrats to you! Keep it up; you have three more left.
If you're a sophomore, you can't believe that two years is already gone and you only have two left! Nevertheless, you know you're going to kill it as an upperclassman next year.
To all of the juniors out there, you have one year left, and then you're graduating. Time, for you, moves fast, and you would probably like to take a minute and step out of your own life and just have everything slow down for a day.
Finally, we reach our seniors. You remember your first day like it was yesterday; new faces, places and memories to be made. Now, you look around and you see some of those same faces that are no longer new. Some of them have become your greatest friends. You look around at the place that was your new home, and you remember being scared of moving in but now you wonder why you were ever scared. The memories will last a lifetime. As you look out into the crowd on graduation day, you wonder to yourself, "Where did time go?" Congratulations to all of the seniors. The real world may be awaiting you, but you'll be fine. Take it one step at a time.
Summer is an exciting time, and it is finally here which means that the beach is right around the corner and endless summer nights are waiting to be discovered. Treasure it because before you know it, you will be back at school again. Make this summer the best one yet. Make it everything you have always wanted it to be. You did it! You finished the semester, so reward yourself in whatever way seems right. Be proud of yourself and never stop believing in your true potential. Summer is an exciting time to reconnect with high school friends. Make memories this summer that will live on forever, and make your mark. Most importantly, pursue whatever it is you desire. Life is too short to keep telling yourself that you will do it tomorrow.
