The World Changes And So Do We

Change Is Life and Life Is Change

The clock,
The weather,
The date,
The season,
The world around me is changing.

The fashion,
The music,
The politics,
The technology,
The culture impacting me is changing.

My age,
My experience,
My dreams,
My goals,
I guess I'm changing too.

My clothes,
My music taste,
My views,
My devices,
I see that I'm being influenced by the changing times.


It is scary to watch as the world moves around me,
Am I ready for all of these twists and these turns?
These sudden loops and bumps in the road?

But I move too,
As we all do.
We see differences and we alter decisions,
We rework our thoughts and change our actions.

We enter new chapters of life all the time,
Flipping the page with unnecessary hesitation.

We are ready and we are prepared,
As life throws its next loop,
Us and the interest rates adjust.

I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.
