We All Are Like The Cast Of Friends
Today Pop Culture

“So no one told you life was gonna be this way” *clap *clap *clap * clap. Whenever the T.V. is on and you hear that song most people know what is on. Friends has been welcomed into many homes throughout the years. We’ve got know each and every character on the show. We’ve cried, laughed, and been so happy for all six of them by the end of season ten. No matter how many times I see reruns of the same or different episode I love it. I could watch Friends all day if I had the time.

Since I’ve been watching the show for long as I can remover I believe I’ve connected with each and every character on that show. And believe that everyone one of them are like me. Here’s why:

Ross Gellar:

Ross is one of the dorkiest people on TV. And so am I in real life. I like some things that seem to be nerdy to some other people. And that is okay. As well when Ross says "I'm FIIIINE" when he really wasn't. It really relates to how I feel when I say I'm fine. Cause we all know that Ross wasn't fine. No matter when life knocked Ross down or throw the weirdest curve balls in his life he just took them and continues on with them.

Monica Gellar:

We all know Monica who is known for her being a neat freak. Which I've learned that I am a lot like her when it comes to cleaning. But sometimes we don't know where to store some items so we have a junk drawer or in Monica's case a closet. We all notice that she's a clean freak but she also just wants to be cool like everybody else. Which I think myself or anyone can relate to. And it may come off a little weird to some who perceives it that way.

Pheobe Buffay:

Pheobe is the most confident person we all wish we could be. And she is when she knows what she is doing, like me. Sometimes she's also confident when she doesn't exactly know what she's doing. Which I'm still learning to do. And like we all know she may not be the best singer but she still goes up there in the coffee shop and sings her little heart out. Which I know I am not the greatest singer but I still sing out loud to my hearts consent.

Joey Tribbiani:

Joey is the probably one of the funniest people on the show. But mostly because he takes a while to get certain things. And anyone that knows me this is exactly me when it comes to understanding certain things.

Chandler Bing:

Chandler is definitely the person you know who's going to have a quick remark to what anyone says. Although, I may not be as fast or have as many as Chandler but I do have some up my sleeves.

Rachel Green:

Rachel is definitely the trend setter of the show. Or fashionista. Which we all try to be including me. But she definitely worked to get where she is. And I think I can see a part of her in me because I usually don't want anyone's help unless I need it to get to my destination. Because I want the satisfaction that I get there all by my self.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
