Do you every wonder how to improve your life? I truly believe that I have discovered six easy steps to making your life as delightful and memorable as possible.
1. Be grateful for what you have.
Don’t wish you had this or that, there’s always someone who has more, or who we feel looks prettier, but the more time we spend comparing our lives to others we miss all the blessings and miracles in our own lives.
2. Put family first.
It’s so easy to get caught up with work assignments, to-do lists and other expectations people have for us that we undervalue the people who love us most. Make sure to spend quality time together whether it’s just eating dinner together and asking how each others' day were or going on a week-long family vacation.
3. Do what you love.
Work, school and everything else demands so much of our time. Make sure that you take some time for yourself to do
what you want to do, and not what you have to do.
4. Don't dwell on the bad.
I know first hand this is a challenge, there are times I wonder why did this happen to me, what did I do or not do to deserve this. But I realize that by doing that I miss the positive things that come out of the experience, and all of the friends and family who support you during the hard times.
5. Laugh daily.
6. Help others.
Every time we help others we warm someone else’s heart, but we also warm our own. I personally always feel like I have made a positive difference in the world, and it makes me feel good inside
