One of the most significant parts of being in a relationship is to keep your significant other happy. Guys, cut the bullshit because it is not cute. Stop living up to the "asshole" reputation that we have as men. Keep your significant other happy! As they say, "happy wife, happy life". Guys, here are some of the little things that you should start doing, or never stop doing.

1. Hold her hand

We will start with the basics. Hold her hand in public! Be proud of the one that you call yours. Let the world know! Hold her hand walking around places, hold her hand when you all go shopping, hold her hand everywhere.

2. Hold the door open for her

It takes less than a couple seconds to open the door for her. DO IT! Be a gentleman.

3. Take her out on dates

GUYS! Do not stop going on dates. You do not have to go on a date every night, but do not forget about them. Women love going on dates, especially with their significant other! Keep it original.

4. Cook for her

Show her you got talent! Women love a man that can cook. If you can cook, it will tell her a lot about the future.

5. Tell her she is beautiful

Let her know that she looks amazing. She may feel like she is not, so bring her boost back up! If I can tell my girlfriend every day throughout the day, you can at least tell her once in a while.

6. Listen to her

Give her your eyes. After a long day, you know all she wants to do is talk to you about her day. Even if it is boring, listen!

7. Give her unexpected massages

When she is having body aches or is just tired from the day, give her a nice massage. Make sure you know how before you try. Do some research!

8. Go on adventures!!!!!!

Take her places! Go to big cities, travel the world, take her everywhere you go. Get out and make memories because time and life are not guaranteed. By the way, that's my baby in the picture. What a view!

9. Know her by heart

What I mean by this is know when your girlfriend is having a bad day, or when she is not feeling 100%. When this is, buy her some flowers and her favorite candy. She will love that. Be there for her, and listen to what is going on in her life that is making her feel this way.

You have to make the little things count. Going out of your way to make your significant other happy will go along way. You will make your girlfriend feel appreciated and loved. We have to steer away from the hookups or friends with benefits relationships because they are toxic. I guarantee you that you will have a happy, healthy relationship if you treat your woman right, and be the best you can be as a man.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
