March is the beginning of warmer weather and a new season. Spring means new flowers, more colors, sunny skies, and spring in California means beach days are back. Here's a list of 10 songs that you may or may not have heard of for your next trip to the beach, lounging in the sun, or just getting ready for the day.

1. Kidnap Me by CRUISR

CRUISR is an indie-pop band based in Philadelphia, and this song will remind of you of good times. The upbeat yet chill nature of the song is perfect for when the sun is in your face and you're with people you love.

2. T-Shirt Weather by Circa Waves

"I can't sleep while the sun's awake." Whenever I think of warm weather, I think of this song. Not only is the title perfect for warm weather, the lyrics reminisce on the little things that define 't-shirt weather'. This song is definitely perfect for a dance party or driving to the beach or another spring/summer destination.

3. What Do I Know? by Ed Sheeran

This song is one of many new sounds from Sheeran's new album '÷'. Along with the famous voice and perfect harmonies, the relaxing tune about the power of music will free you from stress and anxiety for at least 3 minutes and 57 seconds.

4. Everything by Kaptan

"Keep your head up... Everything's gonna be alright." From downtown Nashville, Andrew de Torres encourages listeners that it really is all going to be okay with a happy shimmer. A perfect reminder for when you're running late or stuck in insane traffic.

5. Hey Lady by Stephen Day

A sweet, guitar-filled love song with an even sweeter voice. Like John Mayer, Day knows how to work the guitar and mix it with a little piano while swooning his love. If anything, this song will do nothing but make your morning a bit more cheerful.

6. Happy With Me by HOLYCHILD

Self-defined genre of "brat pop", Liz Nistico and Louie Diller bring the strong beats to indie-pop. Formed at George Washington University in 2012, the duo without a doubt encapsulate a young sound that all teens and college students can enjoy. This particular song was featured on the 'Me Before You' movie soundtrack.

7. Daft Pretty Boys by Bad Suns

Inspired by 1970-80's post-punk musicians like The Cure, Bad Suns' sound can even be enjoyed by anti-rock listeners. Daft Pretty Boys is perfect for your road trip playlist or if you need to wake up from a long night, this won't be nearly as obnoxious as your alarm clock.

8. Absolutely by Ra Ra Riot

For those days when the heat of the sun takes away your energy and you just want to do nothing. This song will half-support the idea of doing nothing, and half-get you pumped to keep going. The violin (played by Rebecca Zeller) adds a flair to the indie sound that most don't typically integrate.

9. With Love by Harbour

If catchy things are your catharsis, definitely give this one a listen. This song tells the story of a guy realizing he might be in love, and the feelings going through his mind. Without being cheesy, the pop/rock sound from Ohio will get you in the mood for a day in the sun or motivate you to keep on going on those rough days.

10. The Sound by The 1975

The fresh and cheery sounds from The 1975's pink sophomore album is perfect for a dance party. Whether you're dancing by yourself, in the car, or with friends, the beats and melody will have you tapping your foot or bobbing your head.

All these songs and artists bring different sounds that aren't typically played on the radio stations, so if you're tired of hearing the same five songs over and over again, try these songs out and enjoy the happy feels they bring.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
