Wait For That Guy

Don't ever lower your standards, if so, are they really right for you?

Well, it's summer time. As a girl, you probably see a bunch of people around you in relationships, getting engaged or even getting married. One thing I have heard other girls tell each other sometimes is, "Your standards are just too high." I am here to tell you that is not true at all. Don't ever lower your standards just to meet someone else's. One thing I can confidently say is that God does have the right guy for you, he might just make you wait, and we need to be okay with this.

1. Wait for the guy who respects you and motivates you.

This can easily be looked over, but you should be with someone who supports you and your life decisions. Someone who is willing to motivate you when you want to reach a goal and stand by your side.

2. Wait for the guy who prays for you and your relationship.

Some can also say this is something that isn't too important but prayer truly is. Someone who is praying for you and your relationship is looking to God for advice and direction in your relationship and is not something that should be taken advantage of. It's a beautiful thing. You likewise should also be praying.

3. Wait for the guy that will take you on a proper date.

I am sorry to inform ladies, but "Netflix and chill" is not a proper date, especially starting off a relationship. Wait for someone that will put time into things and truly care for you.

4. Wait for the guy your family adores and you do too.

As much as we don't want to admit it, our parents and entire families are usually right about someones intentions.

5. Wait for the guy who will constantly pursue you and God.

The guy who is constantly praying for guidance and pursuing you like you two just met.

One thing we must not forget is we also should be the person we look for. As much as we want this from a man, we should be doing the same thing. Be a disciple and lady of God with reckless abandonment, and I promise he will guide you to the right one.

Yes, you may have to wait. But, remember what God has promised. That guy, he's worth the wait.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
