Vietnam's Global City Strikes a Balance Between Biodiversity And Human Happiness

Plans for the creation of a new all-inclusive community in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City have been revealed, demonstrating the project's competence in achieving the right balance between biodiversity and human well-being.

The new 117.4-hectare development project, dubbed The Global City, was created by Masters Homes, who then hired Foster & Partners as Architectural Advisors to oversee the production of the extraordinary architectural masterpiece.

The Global City sits in the heart of Thu Duc City's An Phu neighborhood, giving great access to surrounding areas. High-rise and low-rise residences, villas, social housing, schools, medical and administrative facilities, a 125,000-square-meter retail mall, and other amenities would be available in the new city, according to the plan's specifics.

Residents will also get premium care or be treated to the greatest levels of hospitality, according to Masters Homes.

"Residents of The Global City will be treated with first-rate amenities and experiences. Those are the occasions when you may savor Michelin-starred cuisine while sipping wine and tea with your loved ones amid the city's beautiful environment."

Foster & Partners intends to create a fully biodiverse environment, defined by smoothly connected buildings, landscaped public spaces, or sustainable community services, by uniting five separate communities, all of which have green areas such as parks and gardens.

By using brick and timber in the design of residential structures, the British architectural firm also disclosed that it will retain the local streetscape and existing vernacular of Ho Chi Minh City.

The Global City is projected to be finished in 48 months, with 1800 low-rise units and 10,000 high-rise units. Vietnamese nationals will be able to keep their property for a lifetime, however, foreigners will only be able to keep it for 50 years.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
