As the school year approaches, we look forward to the paradises of summer...but at the same time the last few weeks of school are the hardest reps to push above the bar. As final weeks approach, we open our textbooks, and the final paper due dates become bolder and writer's block occurs more frequently; for those graduating, the idea of being an adult is coming into fruition. All of these responsibilities can cause an immense amount of anxiety, stress, and depression.

In these situations, I have found comfort in worship music. Listening to a particular song can change the perspective of your entire day. Have you ever been in the car and heard a song that just speaks to you? God's timing is remarkable and He speaks to us in multitude of ways. So instead of stressing, take a quick study break, scroll down and get your worship jam on.

1. Simple Gospel

When living in this chaotic world, we have to be reminded of God's amazing truth. The Gospel is glorious; from Jesus's birth, perfect life, ministry, death, resurrection, and the spreading of His truth. The Gospel literally means the "Good News," and it's news that's worth rejoicing.

2. Praise You In This Storm

I lift my eyes unto the hills
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord
The Maker of Heaven and Earth

3. We Won't be Shaken

Psalm 62:3 He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.

4. Worn

Going into finals week, you may be completely done with school. But Jesus overcomes!! If Jesus can overcome the struggles of the entire world, He is capable of helping you through this season of life.

5. Start a Fire

There are times we need motivation, and the best person to go to is the Lord Himself. During this grueling times of the school year it is important for disciples to be on fire for God, to be lights for people who don't know Jesus.

6. Can't Hold Me Down

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

7. Thrive

Every single person is granted with a special talent and gift. God gives us these special gifts so that we can help build His kingdom. Everyone person has a special place in the body of Christ.

8. Give Me Faith

Over the course of our lives, we are going to have to make big decisions that will have a huge effects on our lives. Sometimes God is going to call us to go on a path that we are not comfortable with. As followers of Christ, we have to surrender ourselves and have complete trust in Him. If you give up everything to the Lord, He will give you peace, and make your path straight.

9. Sun is Rising

The Son of God has already risen, and therefore our future beyond this life is something to look forward to. He has risen indeed!

10. Carry Me Through

God will guide and carry us. The Lord is our Shepherd, and He will never leave us.

11. I'll Keep On

You can do it!

12. Greater

There'll be days I lose the battle
Grace says that it doesn't matter
'Cause the cross already won the war

13. You're Not Alone

Some days I just can't go on
I stumble and fall
And I hang my head
But You reach out for my hand
And You lift me up
Again and again oh yes, You do

14. Lay Me Down

When we make the decision to follow Christ, we leave all of our worldly desires, values, pleasures, and struggles at the foot of the cross. Lay your troubles at the feet of Jesus. He will never let you down.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
