Racism is a two-hundred-year old cancer that has seemed to multiply over the months of 2016. Riots has only made things worse in the past and created a scapegoat for looters and vandalistic criminals. Companies and communities have found creative ways to show racists how high we are compared to their vacuous thinking. Here are amazing ways we conquered racism instead of letting it separate us.
1. Emmanuel Nine Shooting that didn’t get the Best of Us
Dylann Roof came to Charleston, South Carolina with the hope of starting a race war by murdering nine members of the Emmanuel family at their most vulnerable moment. Charleston has retaliated by creating peace and crossing the racial divide by ultimately coming together as one. By doing so, we have influenced thousands around the world while becoming better versions of ourselves. As for Dylann Roof, his mission failed and he lost all chances of having an actual life. We are Charleston Strong.
2. Students Reported by Their Peers for Their Racial Ignorance
Race should be the last thing on a college student’s mind, better yet a Christian college student. This is just one of the many failed attempts by racist college students to land themselves in debt without a degree: Two students who attended a Christian college occupying 4,500 students painted their faces with brown makeup and created over-sized lips to imitate blacks. Their anticipation of being a comedian has resulted in likely flipping burgers because no other college would accept them. With every wrong doing comes a consequence. Way to rise ACU!
3. Facebook Rant that Left Employee Jobless
Who would want someone with so much hatred in their heart to serve them? Exactly. Only place I would go where someone says mean things about me is Weiner’s Circle. Thanks to Facebook, we can now target these pin-brained people and tag their employer. If you hate me that much, I don’t want you having my money. Same Real Group, a real estate company, made a prime example of a lady who ranted on Facebook posting ignorant comments about another race.
4. Even Customers can be Banned for their Racial Fatuousness
This infamous, and unidentified, customer in Louisville, Kentucky went on a rant berating a Hispanic citizen by telling her to “go back to where she came from” and other anti-color slanders, thus causing the video to go viral on social media. J.C. Penney and Jefferson Mall is working together to ban this woman for not knowing the basic code of conduct and, correspondingly, basic human rights.
