Wearing your heart on your sleeve is a blessing and a curse. Luckily, there's writing and a career as an educator to sway this in the right direction. Growing up, I was always the nerd in the front of the class who got offended over everything and wasn't afraid to voice her opinion. Soon, I found that it was not OK for ladies to be heard and became even louder. Yeah, I'm kind of a rebel.
