The Unforgiveable Sin

God has a plan for us. When everything is done, anyone would feel some sort of satisfaction or when something is between it will be a big loss. There is a lot to be said about sin. When there is sin, there seems to be an uncontrollable action. However, when life is new, there is a rescuing of the mind and others salvage what is almost complete. Although there is no way around sinning, making mistakes can be a learning experience. So, it comes down to God and how He interprets sin. Is sinning unforgivable? And could this mean the end of a dream of the afterlife and deliverance to heaven? Will sinners go straight to hell? Or purgatory for life? Unforgivable sin is described in Mark 3 and Matthew 12. These passages involve Jesus Christ’s repeated and widespread public defeat of Satan and his demons. Many readers and theologians have been confused about the true nature of this sin.The only being in the universe that is more powerful than the Evil One, is God. He is the only one with enough power to bind Satan himself and forcibly dispossess him. While researching I found this bible passage:

“Anyone who rejects the Holy Spirit’s convicting influence and does not repent will not be forgiven, ‘neither in this world, neither in the world to come’ (Matthew 12:32)” [Ray Comfort, “The Unpardonable Sin,” The Evidence Bible (Gainesville, Florida: Bridge-Logo Publishers, 2001).

And this one:

Jesus thus regards blasphemy against the Spirit—permanently rejecting his identity (Matthew 12:18) as attested by the Spirit’s works (12:28)—as the worst of sins” [Craig S. Keener, The IVP Bible Background Commentary, New Testament (Downers Grove, Illinois: InterVarsity Press, 1993), p. 80.].

You would think that having an unforgivable sin could not save you. However, in the Bible, there are those that have sinned and disbelieved and they have been saved. If you look closely, you will understand the absolute. Either you are a sinner or not. Though It is God’s decision in making us feel whole, it can either be a short light or a long one. It would be helpful to read what Apostle John stated in the Bible’s passage:

"If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He is the propitiation (satisfaction) for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" (1 John 2:1-2).

It will be a day to rejoice when we are with God but it is our relationship with God that needs to be shared. What we take with us after we die will serve as an example of spirit and love. It will be with us when we enter the pearly gates. While searching for ourselves, it is wonderful to believe that unforgivable sin will be forgiven and will save us but it will speak to the specifics of our lives. It takes a lot to understand the forgiveness of unforgivable sin.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
