Every 90s kid will understand: the music from our decade and the early 2000s is some of the best. Even with all of the new music coming out and new artists being discovered, there is still something so great about listening to the music we grew up listening to. You know you loved jamming out to the infamous boy band battle between The Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC and you secretly wanted to be Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana growing up. In honor of all of the kids who grew up listening to this music, here are some of the greatest TBT songs to jam out to this summer.

1. "SOS" - Jonas Brothers

Who didn't love the JoBros?

2. "Come Clean" - Hilary Duff

Lizzie McGuire can sing, too.

3. "All Star" - Smash Mouth

If you can't sing all of these words still, did you really live through the 2000s?

4. "Aaron's Party (Come Get It)" - Aaron Carter

When we all secretly wanted the invite to Aaron's Party

5. "Pop" - *NSYNC

6. "I Want It That Way" - Backstreet Boys

Were you Team *NSYNC or Backstreet Boys?

7. "Waterfalls" - TLC

Don't go chasing those waterfalls ...

8. "Like a Prayer" - Madonna

9. "Say My Name" - Destiny's Child

10. "Ice Ice Baby" - Vanilla Ice

This song is still such a jam.

12. "Wannabe" - Spice Girls

Ben Affleck's appearance in the music video makes the song that much better.

14. "Lucky" - Britney Spears

15. "Let Me Love You" - Mario

16. Sk8er Boi- Avril Lavigne

The song every girl sang into her mirror with a hairbrush microphone.

17. "Here Without You" - 3 Doors Down

18. "Where Is The Love" - The Black Eyed Peas

A song that still has such an impact in its message.

19. "Cry Me A River" - Justin Timberlake

20. "She Will Be Loved" - Maroon 5

Before Adam Levine had the moves like Jagger, he melted everyone's heart with this song.

22. "Yeah!" - Usher featuring Lil Jon and Ludacris

<span id="selection-marker-1" class="redactor-selection-marker" data-verified="redactor"></span> Peace up, A-town.

Despite Danity Kane being a one-hit wonder, this song is fire.

One of Gwen Stefani's most underrated songs.

26. "7 Things" - Miley Cyrus

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
