Some way, somehow, August is quickly approaching. Just as I have asked every summer up to this point, what have I been doing for the past two months that made time fly so quickly? For many of us, this will be the last summer of true "freedom" before entering the big kid world, and it's safe to assume that it will be over before we know it. That being said, here's a quick list of things to do (if you haven't already done so!) before returning to the reality of school.
1. Take a road trip to somewhere you've never been.
2. See your high school friends.
3. Read a book.
4. Try that workout plan you've been putting off for the past two months.
5. Have a beach day (or weekend, or week, or weeks...).
6. Go to the zoo/aquarium.
7. Splurge on that bag/romper/watch that you've been eyeing all summer.
8. Visit an amusement park.
9. Have an all-night Netflix binge.
10. Spend time with your extended family.
11. Have a game night.
12. Get a dozen donuts from Fractured Prune.
13. Go to a concert/music festival.
14. Adopt a pet.
15. Run a 5K.
16. Teach your dog a trick.
17. Explore somewhere in your hometown that you've never seen.
18. Find a cause you're passionate about and volunteer.
19. Be good to your skin.
20. Picnic with a friend you haven't seen yet.
21. Go to yard sales.
22. Take lots of pictures.
23. Pick a summer song.
24. Eat your body weight in fro-yo.
25. Make a personal bucket list, just for your eyes only.
Most importantly, remember that in the next month it's not all about what you're doing, but who you're doing it with. Enjoy!
