In the past many straight guys were often timid or unwilling to be friends or even openly and proudly associate themselves with a gay man for fear of being labeled gay themselves. I am happy to say that unfortunate paranoia is drifting farther and father away and for very good reason. Much to my personal displeasure and though I would never admit it myself to them, I find that some of my straight male friends dress better than I do.
