Have you ever wanted to play a musical instrument but are not talented enough? That is me in a nutshell. I have always wanted to sing to an instrument that I have learned to play myself but the drums, guitar and piano seemed way too challenging for the spare time that I had to learn it. In a little over two weeks, I was able to teach myself how to play the ukelele with no other instruction except looking at the chords on my laptop. What I'm trying to say is if you want to play a musical instrument, I would recommend the ukelele because it's easy and more affordable than most other instruments. But since I am suggesting this I thought it was only fair if I included songs that beginners would be able to play and learn easily.

1. "Hotline Bling" by Drake

While you will probably ask, "They have a ukelele version for this song?" I can confirm that they do. And I learned how to play it in a day. So if you are trying to impress your friends, do it with an acoustic cover one of Drake's most known songs.

2. "All Too Well" by Taylor Swift

If you have just ended or a relationship or just have a lot of feelings, this is not only easy but it will make you shed a tear while singing it. It is a song that you can belt and have a grand time singing while pouring out all of your emotions. Thanks, T-Swift.

3. "Not About Angels" by Birdy

Another emotional song that is tragically beautiful and easy to learn. Featured in "The Fault in our Stars," this song will make you weep while you play it beautifully.

4. "If You Don't Know" by 5SOS

This song has less than five notes and is a wonderful ballad by the hot new boy band. Is that enough of an explanation?

5. "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson

A staple of my childhood, and now I can belt the powerhouse vocal song out when I'm home alone because I know a mere five notes in order to play it.

6. "Sorry" by Justin Bieber

If you haven't recognized many of the songs I mentioned before, you must surely recognize this song. If not, you clearly don't listen to the radio. Who wouldn't want to sing a song that J-Biebs has graced us with?

7. "Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift

If you've kept up with Swift, you know she's been in the celebrity gossip world lately, so if you want to show support sing one of her most famous songs: Bad Blood, which contains only four notes. It's simple to play and a tune that will only get old after maybe the 100th time playing it.

8. "Lips are Movin'" by Meghan Trainor

Truthfully, I'm not a huge fan of this artist, however, her songs are easy to play and sing on the ukelele so they are definitely recommended to a beginner.

9. "So Yesterday" by Hilary Duff

Classic.

10. "Shower" by Becky G

The popular song by Becky G contains fewer than five notes, but will make you want to sing in the shower (see what I did there).

11. "All You Never Say" by Birdy

Another song by Birdy that will tear your heart apart but sounds perfect for the ukelele.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
