Winter brings out the best and worst in people. It's simple—you either love it or hate it. While others rise to the occasion of sweater weather, others seem to lack the ambition to even put on proper pants. Nonetheless, there are always an array of girls who seem to get with it or would rather be cuddled up in 15 plush blankets. There's one thing I can promise, you will run into these types of girls every winter season.
1. The “It’s Cold And I’m Wearing Every Piece of Clothing I Own.”
These girls are typically the smartest girls because they understand comfort over style. They don’t want to freeze their butts off just walking to class. From a distance, they look like walking marshmallows with two sweaters, a fur coat, scarf, sweatpants, thermal underneath and snow boots on. Bonus points if they wear a ski mask to class.
2. The “It’s Not Even That Cold.”
These girls are lying. Lying, lying, lying. It’ll be 27 degrees out and a blizzard can look like it’s about to come their way yet they’re only wearing a light knit sweater and cardigan. When you’re not looking they’ll be rubbing their hands together trying to gather all the heat their body is holding.
3. The “Iced Coffee Is Year-Round.”
These girls are the ones bundled in their North Face jackets and UGG boots with Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee in their cold little hands. Their dedication stands strong, and so does their caffeine dependency.
4. The “I Wish It Was Summer.”
These girls have a constant frown on their faces. They hate winter. They openly discuss their disgust with snow and don’t understand how anyone can enjoy winter. They’re the ones who upload Summer #tbt ’s on Thursdays and have a countdown calendar for the first day of spring.
5. The “This Is My Favorite Season.”
These girls are the only ones smiling while walking to class while everyone else is frozen solid. They make their love for winter known as they have been waiting for sweater weather since last winter ended. They have a stockpile of sweaters with lace trimming and leg warmers and high socks with boots for every outfit. Bonus points if they wear those knitted headband-scarf-things.
6. The “I’m Bringing My Blanket To Class.”
These girls understand true comfort and don’t seem to care if anyone else is judging. In fact, everyone in the class is jealous they didn’t bring their plush blanket to class too.
