First off, there's barely anything better than 90's TV shows, but one of the best parts is the heart-throbs that played our favorite male characters. Whether it was because they weren't too hard on the eyes or their sweet souls, we all had our favorite males. Here are some of my favorite heart-throbs to give you a blast of butterflies from the past.
1. Uncle Jesse (Full House)
Typically every girl's first celeb crush, John Stamos stole our hearts as Uncle Jesse. Not only was he around on TV when I was growing up, but he continues to be around today as I'm an adult. Thanks to him, a Full House reboot, Fuller House, was possible. He never quite left the screen, and we're totally okay with that.
2. Steve Hale (Full House)
Whenever Steve appeared on Full House, you got just about as happy as he did when raiding the Tanner's fridge. His appetite and good looks had us swooning in every episode. You were hanging onto every word he said throughout the series and were always (and still are) team DJ and Steve.
3. Cory Matthews (Boy Meets World)
We all have imagined passing this sweet face in the hallway. He was so easy to have a crush on. His witty remarks and sense of humor could make any heart melt. Sometimes, you probably even wished you were Topanga. If Steve and DJ weren't your relationship goals, then Cory and Topanga definitely were.
4. Harvey Kinkle (Sabrina the Teenage Witch)
Harvey knew he wasn't intelligent (he didn't even know Sabrina was a witch), but had his looks going for him. Out of all of Sabrina's boyfriends, he was our favorite.
5. Zack Morris (Saved By The Bell)
Whether you fell for his sense of humor or his charming good looks, something about him caught your eye. You always wished that you could be his Kelly.
6. AC Slater (Saved By the Bell)
Much like on Full House, you had two TV crushes on Saved By the Bell. AC Slater's athletic abilities could make any girl swoon. You probably found yourself wishing you be held in his arms after he scored the winning touchdown. Either way, you definitely wanted to attend Bayside High School just to get a glimpse of either of these two.
7. Joey Tribbiani
"How you doooiiinn?" Despite Joey not being the brightest star on the show, something about him always made you smile. His pick-up lines, while cheesy, made you smile over and over again. He was charming, witty, and lovable.
8. Randy Taylor (Home Improvement)
I use to catch Home Improvement reruns all the time. Because of that, it was hard not to crush on Randy Taylor. Given that the actor left the screen to focus on academics (swoon, right?), we don't see or hear of him much anymore. What a bummer.
9. Will Smith (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air)
Admit it, something about Will Smith has always had your attention. He hda the perfect balance of humorous, loving, and totally crazy. How could you not wish that you could be co-piolet on his adventures and exciting everyday life? Watching his character evolve over the series, along with some heartbroken moments along the way, made you drawn to him even more. Even now, you still most likely fangirl anytime you see him on the screen.
10. Stefan Urquelle (Family Matters)
Family Matters is a classic and extremely well-known because of one many, Steve Urkel. That being said, whenever you saw Stefan walk in (even though we knew it was the same person who played Steve), your heart skipped a beat. He was the definition of romantic.
11. Jack Hunter (Boy Meets World)
It's hard not to have multiple crushes on your favorite shows. While we only had a few seasons with Jack, he wasn't hard on the eyes. Just look at that sweet face!
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed being outside as much as I could as a child, but when it got dark and time to wind down for bedtime, these shows and reruns were always on. It was hard not to enjoy TV with these faces on them while growing up!
