Let's talk about terrible movies. Immediately "Sharknado", basically all Syfy movies, "Rubber", "Thankskilling", and some others I have not got around to seeing yet come to mind. But, these movies typically seem like all they are trying to accomplish is make a movie that can be jeered at by using ludicrous story lines and CGI, and all are made in the hopes that people will love this movie because it is so bad. I remember a time( or at least watched movies from a time) when bad movies were bad but due to their attempt at being critically acclaimed. In particular, I am talking about "Troll 2".

"Troll 2" or the best worst movie is a masterpiece of inept acting, out of place scenes, by far the best story line, and a completely unfitting title. To begin, the title, "Troll 2" has nothing to do with the story, in fact, the producer/director chose that name because there was already a movie called, "Troll". Originally intended to be a praised horror film this movie did the exact opposite by causing national screenings where people only came to laugh. This movie is quite terrifying if you consider a chihuahua with balloons for paws as terrifying( weird example but you know what I mean).

This movie is essentially about a family going to a summer home in the country town "Nilbog". Recently, the son of the family has been seeing his late grandfather who continues to tell him stories about goblins who happened to feast on humans by giving them strange concoctions that turn them into vegetation. These goblins do so by feigning their appearance as humans. Within this masterpiece, I cannot say I have an exact favorite scene, but after this movie "Row, Row, Row Your Boat", popcorn, and eating sandwiches are so much more enjoyable.

This film's powerful story and script, according to the Italian director), is a based off of American culture, but who really knows? When it comes to the actors, I personally believe it is fantastic that the actors are not A-listers or anything of that nature because when they act, they act with passion even if their passion seems clumsy. How often do you have a dentist as an actor, like seriously?

When watching this movie, gather a group, the best and most delightful way of watching this movie is with friends, otherwise, you will reek of unknown references. In addition, you will have a significant increase of love for well produced and directed movies. On a final note, for the love of god watch this movie if you want to have a happy life, not that yours is not good right now, watch this movie because it could be so much better.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
