Delta Delta Delta at Spring Hill College is putting on its first ever "Tri Love Week," , starting November 16, and running through November 20.
But what exactly is "Tri Love Week"? In an effort to spread awareness of the dangers of body shaming, the Gamma Delta chapter created this week with the inspiration of BodyImage3D, one of Tri Delta's philanthropies.
Everyone is invited to attend every event Tri Delta is putting on for the week. There will also be activities in the back of the caf during lunch hour each day, along with bigger activities Monday through Wednesday night, such as yoga, a fashion show, and a workshop.
Why is Tri Delta hosting this event? Because it is important that every person on Spring Hill's campus knows that their body is beautiful. It should be known that the human body is a masterpiece, and each person should love that they are a work of living art.

Tuesday November 17: One Love Fits All Fashion Show
Friends from B Boutique will be providing clothes for Tri Delta's "One Love Fits All Fashion Show." It will all begin at 7 pm in the Leblanc Ballroom with a $3 admission ticket. All proceeds will go towards the National Eating Disorder Association. There will be a raffle for a $50 gift card to Lotus Boutique and a $50 gift card to B Boutique. Come support your fellow Badgers as they strut across the runway!
Wednesday November 18: Tri Love Workshop
Fellow Badgers will talk about their experiences with body shaming with a workshop following the speeches about the importance of body love. The talks will being at 7 pm, also in Leblanc, with the workshop following thereafter. This will be an eye-opening night, for sure, so you should really try to make it if you can. It'll definitely will be a night to remember. Bring your open heart and your listening ears!
