The best places to find your summer look.

Trendy And Affordable

Prime vacation season is approaching quickly and it is time to find some new summer outfits to match your new perfectly toned summer bod. So, what's the issue? Money. Summer can be hard because while you are making a good chunk of change from your awesome summer job, you also have more freedom with how you spend it. Where do you go to get that ideal summer look? Here are some places you can get awesome deals from.

1. Bath and Body Works and Victoria's Secret.

Okay, initially that doesn't sound so cheap. But a beautiful thing called a "Semi-Annual Sale" happens around this time of year and it is Christmas in the middle of summer. You can get retired fragrances from BBW for just $3.50 each! What a steal, especially if you want to try out a new scent for the summer. Their popular three-wick candles are also only $11 each meaning you could buy a beach scented candle and bring the ocean to your room. Victoria's Secret marks down their bras and panties significantly as well. As females, these are essential items so why not take advantage of quality products while they are on sale?

Both of these stores also offer free shipping for orders $25 and over. If you don't feel like fighting the crowds or dealing with picked-over bins, then take advantage of this online offer.

2. Old South Apparel.

There is no better place to buy your summer southern apparel than from Old South. They offer a variety of tank tops, shirts, dog accessories, and leather goods for any cowboy or southern belle. By going to their website, you can sign up for text alerts that will notify you when they are about to have a huge sale or are releasing new awesome items. I am signed up for the alerts and it will help you stay ahead of the game if you want to snag a shirt before they are sold out. Their items are also wonderful because they are great summer items that are good for lounging around the pool or the beach.

3. Old Navy.

I don't know about you, but my local Old Navy is always a nightmare. There always seems to be a long line no matter the time of day and everything seems to always be a mess. If you have the time to search and the patience to wait, it is definitely worth it. This summer, Old Navy has come out with different printed shorts that would pair wonderfully with sandals, a solid tank, and a statement necklace. Each week they always seem to be marking down items that would be essential to helping build that stylish summer wardrobe you would love to have. Be sure to give them your email address at checkout so you never miss out on a notification for some awesome summer sales.

4. Ulta.

If you are like me and use a variety of drugstore and brand named makeup, then Ulta is the best place for you to go to start building your summer collection. The best way to start is to sign up for an Ulta rewards card which you can use to build points and eventually get discounts off of your purchases. They will always send you frequent flyers in the mail that contain coupons on the back to take money off of your next purchase. Sometimes if you buy certain brands like Bare Minerals or Urban Decay or even a fragrance, Ulta will provide you a free gift with your purchase! I have gotten everything from a free mini makeup primer or a plush bathroom mat just by buying a gift for a friend or even picking up a refill of an everyday product I use! The Ulta brand makeup is also relatively inexpensive and is great to buy if you want to test out a new color or look in your everyday makeup routine.

These are a few of my favorite places to hit up over the summer and I hope that it will help you in getting some ideas for summer trends!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
