We've been waiting for this for 10 months, Summer is officially here. We can finally have vacations and do the activities we've been waiting to do. There are many great things to do this summer, but where do you start? Well, there are many activities to do like seeing animals, partying, fireworks, oh, and even 1,000-foot waterslides!
1. Attend a festival.
Wanna visit the zoo this summer, but also a festival? Well, now you can do both. On July 16, enjoy music and food while seeing Apes and many other animals at the Summer Ale Festival at Philadelphia zoo.
2. Go to the shore.
Working on getting a tan or just wanting to relax? Well, you can never go wrong with planning a day at the beach. Visit the boardwalks and maybe even pick up some fudge on the way.
3. Ice cream in NYC!
Going to be in New York City this summer? Do you love ice cream? Then you might just enjoy making your own ice cream right at your table at Cool Mess in NYC.
4. Parties.
Throw a tiki party this summer with your family and friends, have a barbecue, or pool party in your back yard.
5. Slide through the city.
Slide through the city of Philadelphia Aug. 6 on a 1,000-foot water slide! Cost: $10.
6. Free concerts.
Summer is a great time to see your favorite artists perform. There are several concerts this summer and even several down at the Jersey Shore.
7. Visit an exhibit.
This summer, take a chance to explore lighting with your favorite Disney character, Dory, at the Science Behind Pixar exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
8.Dolphin watching.
This summer, maybe even while going to the beach, plan a trip to interact with dolphins.
9. See a movie.
There are many movies hitting theaters this summer. Maybe try watching a film under the stars at a drive-through movie theater.
10. Fireworks.
Attend the Philadelphia Fourth of July firework celebration.
11. Bonfires.
Bonfires aren't just for winter!
There are many activities to add to your summer bucket lists but instead of doing those activities as usual how about going into the city and experiencing them in a whole new interesting way. Of all these activities and events the most important is to remember to have fun! "Some of the best memories are made in flip flops"-Kellie Elmore
