There are hundreds of Disney movies and some were so good, but forgotten or ignored.

1) Black Cauldron

The Black Cauldron in my opinion is one of the most under-appreciated movies of all time. It's cute and friendly. It can get a little dark, but for some reason despite the "Scary Scenes," I was drawn to this movie and as a kid and watched it over and over. I feel now as an almost 20 year old, I can appreciate it even more. Everyone needs to re-watch this old classic or watch it if they haven't seen it already.

2) The Great Mouse Detective

This one is a classic and a goody. It's funny and a cute spin off of Sherlock Holmes, that just makes it miniature. With a big fight with a Evil Rat over the Mouse Queen of England, its full of jokes and bad puns throughout the whole movie, which is what makes it so wonderful.

3) Atlantis

I cannot put into words how much I love this movie. When I was little I wanted to live in Atlantis and fly around with the crystal aircrafts. This movie was just so cool with all the technology and showing of a different world.

4) Treasure Planet

Jim made this movie for me. He is a angsty teen who wants to make good by helping his mom, but ends up in trouble as his mentor turns on him. But the amount of sass and hair flips make this another one of my top choices.

5) The Rescuers

These movies were all just so cute and I love the idea behind them-- taking children out of bad homes and giving them a good life. It's a feel-good, family hearted movie.

6) Oliver and Company

Who doesn't love animals?! Especially dogs. Im not big on cats, but Oliver was a cat I wanted to own. The drama and adventures they had throughout this movie keep me coming back to re-watch it again and again.

7) Sword in the Stone

Between family bickering and the wizard/witch battle, this movie is nothing but an adventure and a classic.

8) Meet The Robinson's

Another great Disney movie that is completely underrated with the amount of comedy in it. The highlight is the T-Rex chasing Lewis around the house and then complains his head his too big and arms are too small. I don't know why, but every time someone references this part, I die laughing. Definitely a favorite and great movie for a laugh.

9) Hercules

The music numbers and this sound track is so underrated and all the songs are just so catchy. And Hercules is just, well...Hercules.

10) Pocahontas

She is one of the most forgotten princesses, and that really bothers me because I do consider her a princess even if others do not. She is one of the most badass princesses and there are multiple in the Disney universe, but I like to consider her to be the first.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
