10. See 50 shades of Grey.

This risqué film is perfect for Valentine's Day because it fits the theme. It has everything from romance to drama to scandal, and can set the mood for you and your hot date or give you a laugh with your friends.

9. Go to dinner with friends.

Pick your favorite restaurant (I recommend Hibachi) and eat whatever your heart desires. Several portions are encouraged. Food is the only thing that can truly make your heart happy.

8. Tequila Tuesday.

When in doubt grab a lime, some salt, and take a shot with your girlfriends to still have a fun night!

7. Lots of chocolate.

Chocolate is always the solution. A variety is always nice, ranging from a Hershey Bar to Kit Kat, chocolate will make your heart happy this V-Day.

6. Matching PJ sets with friends.

4. Cook a lavish dinner.

Find a special recipe and start cooking! Try out a penne a la vodka, mac n cheese, steak, or chocolate cake, and treat yourself.

2. Swear to yourself that was your last single valentine’s day.

...and make a change! Look for somebody who makes you happy and who you have fun with that you could see yourself with next when this day rolls around next year.
