As the second semester quickly approaches, there are many things to consider that will give this semester a fresh start. While purchasing school supplies and figuring out what your (attempted) gym schedule will be, there is one very important decision we all have to make: what Netflix shows we will be binge watching to get us through this semester. Here are my top four best Netflix shows to watch this semester for the people who are as big of addicts as I am
1. "Friends"
To say that this show is great is an understatement. "Friends" focuses on a group of six adults, three males and three females, and their time in New York City. It is impossible to not fall in love with each and every one of them, and wish that they were your friends. With relationships unfolding, figuring out their careers, and spending a bulk of their time at Central Perk, this show is guaranteed to have you cracking up at every episode.
2. "One Tree Hill"
If you are looking for a more serious show that will have you addicted within the first ten minutes of it, this is the show for you. "One Tree Hill" shows the growth of a handful of teenagers that you will fall in love with. It shows the hardships that all teenagers go through in high school, but also shows how they learned to overcome those hardships and become mature, independent adults. Between the connections of the community, the thrill that it brings with every obstacle they face, and the relationships that you will want to relate to, this show is sure to help you procrastinate all the papers you want to this semester
3. "How I Met Your Mother"
It is no "Friends," but it is sure close to it! Similar to "Friends," "How I Met Your Mother" focuses on the friendships of five adults who help tell the story of how the main character, Ted met his wife. Throughout the show, Ted is narrating each episode to show he is explaining to his kids everything that he went through to find his wife, and their mother. Although trying to figure out who in the end is indeed their mother can get frustrating, the show will have you laughing every minute.
4. "Grey's Anatomy"
"Grey's Anatomy" is a show about a hospital full of surgeons and their every day lives. The relationships are addicting and each surgery will have you on your toes wondering what is going to happen next. By the end of the show, you will be contemplating changing your major and applying to medical school after graduation from all you learned.
Happy Netflix-watching this semester xoxo
